Upon your arrival in the UK,

Step 1:

After disembarking the plane, follow the signs labeled "Arrivals" and it is recommended to use the restroom along the way if needed, as the queues can be quite long, usually ranging from 1 to 3 hours, although exceptionally fast cases are rare.

Step 2:

Following the "Arrivals" signs, you will reach the "Immigration Control" area. Join the queue labeled "All Other Passports" to enter the "UK Border" immigration control zone.

Step 3:

The immigration officer will inspect your relevant documents, including but not limited to your passport, visa, CAS, etc. They will also ask you a few questions and then stamp your passport, allowing you to proceed.

Step 4:

Follow the signs to the area for collecting checked baggage. Initially, a screen will display the corresponding conveyor belt number for your flight's origin. Wait for your luggage and collect it.

Step 5:

After collecting your luggage, continue walking, and you will come across a "Customs Control" channel with three options: red, green, and blue. Red indicates items that require declaration. If you have items to declare, choose the red channel. Green is for passengers arriving from non-European Union countries without any items to declare. Choose the green channel. Blue is for passengers arriving from European Union countries without any items to declare. Choose the blue channel.

Once you have successfully passed through, you have officially entered the country. Contact the person you have pre-arranged for airport pickup. Many schools offer free or paid pickup services within specific timeframes. It is advisable to get in touch with your school for details. Additionally, exercise caution when choosing individual pickup services and opt for reputable companies whenever possible. The airport also provides pickup services, so remember to make an advance reservation on their official website.
