领养购买猫狗¶
How to adopt or purchase a cat (pet) in the UK?
Dear, promise me that if you bring it home, you will take care of it for a lifetime.
You will have many throughout your lifetime, but it will only have you for its entire life.
Show more responsibility, take on more responsibility,
Be a dedicated cat owner from beginning to end,
And of course, if possible,
Choose adoption over buying.
Why are people suddenly fond of keeping cats? Because as long as I can afford to buy them little fish snacks, they will never leave me. But people are different. Even if I prepare a table full of braised pork, they can just walk away. No matter how much meat there is, they won't turn back.
About adoption,
The well-known RSPCA animal adoption organization in the UK.
link:http://www.rspca.org.uk/findapet
The adoption process is not as troublesome as imagined.
After registration, the organization will assess whether you are suitable for owning a pet, considering factors such as living environment, financial conditions, and whether you would mistreat small animals, etc. Then, you will need to pay an adoption fee. Yes, the animals themselves are free, but adoption requires a fee.
Speaking of the adoption fee, every organization has one, usually around several tens of pounds. The price is very reasonable because the adoption organization provides the pets with vaccinations, check-ups, sterilization, and so on. They only charge a small amount to cover their costs. The adoption process is also quite simple because the UK encourages everyone to adopt small animals.
Even our domestic internet celebrity Wang Sicong adopted a little princess dog named Wang Keke. Now the little princess has become a popular internet celebrity with millions of followers (her dad, Sicong, has over 20 million followers). She even has her own Taobao store, with impressive sales.
Sicong: Can you be my dog in the next life too?
Keke: Can I change my role?
Sicong: Woof?
Look at the picture, and the introduction also says they are winners in life. So, you see, adopting instead of buying, you might also become the next Wang Sicong or the next Wang Keke, haha... hahaha...
Among them, in the UK, you might get away with hitting a person, but if you harm a small animal, the police will apprehend you, and you may face substantial fines or even be put in a cell.
This reminds me that Singapore also has similar laws. If you mistreat a small animal or if you're walking down the street and a dog suddenly comes and bites you, if you get angry and injure the dog, the dog won't be punished, but you could face fines or even be arrested by the police. The maximum penalty can be up to 18 months of imprisonment. The reason behind this is that humans have the ability to control their actions due to their thoughts, but dogs don't.
How can you adopt from the RSPCA in the UK? It's actually very simple, and the official website provides a detailed tutorial. Find the small animal you like, fill out a form, visit the center, meet the person, and you're done.
The organization will take care of the rest for you. You can obtain an application form from the nearest organization or download it online.

The well-known animal adoption organization in the UK is Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The adoption process at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is even simpler, consisting of just three steps, a three-step routine. Isn't there a song that goes like this? Let me play the three-step melody for adopting a cat, in memory of the arrival of my meow-meow, with a voice as lovely as a meow. Meow-meow sounds so nice...
Registration, Matching, Bringing Home
This process is very much like the rhythm of dating, isn't it?!
First, you go to the marriage registry to register, then they arrange a few potential matches for you to meet. If you hit it off, you can bring them home.
Of course, I can't guarantee that you can take home the person you're interested in, but when it comes to this cat, you can definitely bring them home, haha.

Actually, there are many small adoption centers in various regions of the UK. Just do a quick search on Google, and you'll easily find them. It's very simple. Alternatively, one day while you're eating at a certain shop, you might come across one.
For example, when I visited the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, which is Shakespeare's birthplace, I felt thirsty and suddenly noticed an interesting milkshake shop called Blueberry Balloons. So, I couldn't resist and went in. I must say, they had a variety of flavors, allowing you to choose a single flavor or mix them. The milkshakes were incredibly delicious. And let me tell you, the milkshake guy there was quite handsome. Ah, I instantly wanted to have milkshakes every day. :)
Um, of course, milkshakes are not the focus here, and neither is the handsome guy. The main point is that there was a TV on the wall of the shop continuously playing introductions of cats, welcoming everyone to adopt them.
At that moment, I couldn't help but admire how lovely it was. Ah, it truly was a milkshake shop filled with love. I also wanted to open one myself.
After some time, while strolling around, I discovered that Coventry had opened a similar, super small shop right next to WHSmith!
If you think about it, it's really difficult to genuinely love someone who will love you back unconditionally because human emotions can be disguised and hidden for a long time. But meow-meows and woof-woofs, they love you sincerely, without any pretense. They won't deceive you, and they won't abandon you. When they cuddle and act cute, they can instantly heal you even if you're angry.
As shown in the image below, I really want to give a kiss to the guy closest to me.
Guy: Ah, no, don't kiss me!
Me: Wow, so you wanted to kiss me? Alright then, just one, right here. I'll give you even more if you want.
Guy: ....................

Attention from Ten-liter Meow:
Dear owners, please don't worry about the adoption fee. It's truly cost-effective because the organizations have already taken care of comprehensive health checks, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and other costs for the cats. If you were to take your cat to get vaccinations and such on your own, it would be quite expensive, not to mention the additional concerns.
After adopting a cat, remember to register your cat's microchip code with your own information at the microchip company. Then, visit a vet to register and have a check-up for your cat, and make an appointment for the next vaccination based on the vet's advice.
Remember to vaccinate your cat after microchipping, or it won't be recorded. Otherwise, when you take your cat back to your home country, you'll have to get them vaccinated again.
After adoption, remember to purchase pet insurance for your cat. It is recommended to get the highest coverage from the Post Office. It costs a few tens of pounds per year, and you can even get a cashback of nearly half the amount you paid. It's like a 40% discount. With insurance, you don't have to worry about high medical expenses if your cat gets sick.
Regarding purchasing:
Ten-liter Meow reminds you that when buying cats or dogs from private sellers, make sure they provide you with the cat's health certificate, identification documents, and other information. Otherwise, if you encounter any issues with the cat or if it lacks proper identification, it will be very troublesome and costly to seek treatment or register them later. Please be cautious when making purchases.

Finally,
If you love it, love it wholeheartedly for a lifetime, regardless of the storms and rain.
If you don't love it, don't provoke it from the beginning.
Don't wait until the kitty slowly falls in love with you, becomes dependent on you, and then abandon it.
Choosing it means choosing responsibility.
Be a warm-hearted person, for love creates a home.
