Reference自动生成¶
What are the automatic reference generation software options for UK research papers?
When writing a paper, it's manageable when it's only 3,000 words. However, when I first arrived abroad to study, it would take me a month to complete a 3,000-word paper. I felt anxious and unsure. But things changed over time, and now I can write 6,000 words in a week without any problem, especially when inspiration strikes. The key to generating inspiration is to read various relevant books, news articles, journals, and so on, as these serve as references in the paper.
A 3,000-word paper usually has fewer references, so it's possible to manually copy, paste, cut, format, and arrange them one by one. Since there are at most a dozen references, it can be done manually according to the required format by the school or instructor. The previous guide provides specific information on references, how to avoid plagiarism, what to do if caught plagiarizing, and introduces various plagiarism detection software.
However, when it comes to a 15,000-word paper, the number of references becomes too large, often dozens of them. Manual operations become impractical, exhausting, and time-consuming. Therefore, this is when reference generation software becomes necessary.

It is free to use with the account provided by our university, Coventry University. If you are not familiar with this website, you can also use Google Scholar.
