Is it necessary for a PowerPoint presentation to be very high-end?

I personally believe that a PowerPoint presentation just needs to be practical and concise; it doesn't need to be overly sophisticated or flashy. Of course, this depends on the situation. For certain occasions that have specific requirements, a more high-end presentation may be necessary, similar to dressing formally for a dinner party, which is different from everyday attire.
For instance, in large public gatherings, rallies, or conferences where you're facing the public, you can make the PowerPoint presentation very flashy with animations, sound effects, visual elements, and so on. However, for small-scale personal use in learning or work, I still believe that practicality and simplicity should be prioritized. Being cool and fancy won't earn you extra points or a higher salary from your teacher or boss. Instead, if the content is lacking, it becomes a soulless display.
There are plenty of PowerPoint templates available online, so if you want some style, you can use a template. There are also many free templates to choose from; just do a quick search. Of course, if you genuinely want to create a high-end or visually appealing presentation, it should be based on content that is highly relevant and then complemented with suitable color schemes, graphics, animations, and sound effects. At that point, the high-end design becomes the icing on the cake.
But then again, simplicity is key. Keeping things simple and practical is great because it's easier for everyone to understand, reduces stress, and makes the process more relaxed. This reminds me of a gathering I attended organized by foreigners, with about several dozen people. It was held in a well-known hotel venue, and the PowerPoint displayed on the big screen was also simple. It consisted of just one or two images accompanied by a few English words or sentences, and there was background music playing automatically. It was as simple as that.
In the end, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Simplifying complexity and achieving greatness through simplicity.
